My Northern Suburbs client purchased a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom home and immediately went about knocking out a wall to join two separate living areas, extending the home to include an additional bathroom and merging two bedrooms into an open plan master and en suite retreat.

With the structural works underway, my client required an interior design concept which included bespoke cabinetry to accommodate a built in laundry and functional storage inclusions in the living, dining and kitchen island joinery. The open plan nature of the space meant there were a few different kitchen island configurations possible. There was also the challenge of squeezing in a large rectangular 10 seater dining table.
